Councilman Johnny Eubanks
Councilman Johnny Eubanks, is a lifelong resident of Commerce and is a Manufacturing Manager at Baldor-Dodge-Reliance in Athens, GA, where he has worked for 41 years. He is a member, and past-president, of the Reliance Management Club, the Georgia Fire Chiefs Association, the Georgia Firefighters Association, and was an instructor for the Georgia Fire Academy for several years. He was a fireman with the Commerce Fire Department for 29 years, serving as Chief for nine years, before retiring from the CFD in 2006. He has served on the City of Commerce Planning Commission for two years. He attended Commerce High School and Gainesville College., and is a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce.
He is married to Judy White Eubanks and they have two grown sons and two grandsons: Clay (Kristy, McKay, Jack) and Chad (Allison).
His hobbies include golf and watching the grandsons play sports.
