Rick Lewis, Director of Public Works
Hi my name is Rick Lewis, I joined the City of Commerce in July of 2006 as the Public Works Director. I currently reside in the Sanford community, with my wife Melissa of and my son Gabe. We also have a daughter Amanda, who is married to Phillip Archer, and they have a son Aiden. I am excited to be a part of the City of Commerce and look forward to serving the citizens of this community.

The City's Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of all city streets, rights-of-ways, and city cemeteries. The department is directed by Public Works Director Rick Lewis. The department may be contacted directly at 706.335.9262.
If contact cannot be made directly, contact the Commerce City Hall at 706.335.3164 for any information or for filing a complaint concerning any public street within Commerce.
The department also is responsible for the day to day maintenance of all city owned and operated cemeteries. For information concerning purchasing or locating a cemetery lot call the Commerce City Hall. For information concerning regulations within the cemeteries, contact the Public Works Director.
