Through the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia's (MEAG) statewide transmission and power generation system, Commerce can reliably serve any size electrical load while maintaining a low cost of service. Commerce's electrical distribution system is presently served from an integrated network of four substations. Electric customers in excess of 900 KW demand may choose to have Commerce supply power even when locating in unincorporated areas of Jackson County.Commerce currently serves over 2700 customers and looks forward to serving you.
