The Commerce Finance Department strives for excellence and honesty in managing public resources. It is the duty of the department to collect, disburse, and properly record the financial tranactions in a timely and efficient manner with respect to all applicable laws. Specific functions include accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, utility billing, miscellaneous billings, and collections.
