Ward 4
Steve Perry has served as Councilman for Ward 4 since 2012. A native of Commerce, Mr. Perry graduated from Commerce High School and the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. He has been committed to serving the City of Commerce for over 25 years as a community pharmacist and manager of the Commerce CVS Pharmacy. Before pursuing a position in city government, Councilman Perry served for 12 years on the Commerce City School Board of Education where he held the position of Chairman for 9 years. Prior to that, he served 6 years on the Jackson County Zoning Commission.
Steve is married to the former Marsha Sanders, also of Commerce, who recently retired from the Commerce City School System. Steve and Marsha have two sons, Matt and Adam, both of whom graduated from Commerce High School, and two grandsons, Logan and Dylan. Steve and his family are members of the Commerce First Baptist Church.
